Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, plan and implement rehabilitation programs for diverse patients on a PRN basis. You’ll work under medical direction to restore function and reduce pain.

Qualifications

• Requires degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• License to practice as a Physical Therapist in NC.
• BLS certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Establishes a plan of care appropriate to patient problems and involves the patient.
• Plans and carries out individually designed programs to improve physical functioning and reduce pain.
• Administers therapy using standard physical therapy modalities as appropriate.
• Directs and supervises staff and communicates effectively.
