Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers, GA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT services, including evaluations, modalities and treatments across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. You will collaborate with PT assistants to restore function and relieve pain.

Applicants should be graduates of an accredited PT program (BS/MS/DPT) and hold a current Georgia license or compact privileges, with BCLS certification and ongoing CEUs. 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required.
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
