Looking for a PRN Physical Therapy Opportunity That Fits Your Life?

What if you could make a meaningful difference in someone's recovery while enjoying the flexibility to balance your career with everything else that matters to you?

At AdvantageCare Rehabilitation, we're looking for a compassionate, motivated PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team at Valley View in Montoursville, Pennsylvania.

Whether you're an experienced Physical Therapist looking to supplement your income, a newer clinician interested in expanding your experience, or someone seeking flexible hours without the commitment of a traditional full-time schedule, we'd love to connect!

We know your time is valuable, and finding the right PRN opportunity should mean more than simply picking up additional shifts.

It should mean joining a team where your clinical expertise is respected, your contributions matter, and the care you provide makes a real difference.

Why You'll Love This PRN Opportunity

Flexibility That Works for You

Already working full-time? Looking to pick up additional hours while maintaining a schedule that works for your lifestyle?

Our PRN opportunities allow you to explore additional work based on your availability and the facility's coverage needs.

Whether you're balancing another position, family responsibilities, or simply prefer the flexibility of PRN employment, we'd love to learn what you're looking for.

Meaningful Patient Care in a Community-Focused Setting

At Valley View, you'll have the opportunity to work with residents who depend on skilled rehabilitation services to improve mobility, regain strength, and maintain independence.

From helping someone take their first steps after a hospitalization to celebrating progress toward returning home or achieving greater independence, you'll be part of the moments that truly matter.

Supportive Leadership That Understands Therapy

AdvantageCare Rehabilitation was founded by therapists who understand the importance of clinical collaboration, professional respect, and quality patient care.

As a Physical Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise, develop individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve meaningful outcomes.

A Team That Values Your Contributions

Even when you're working PRN, you deserve to feel like a valued member of the team.

We strive to create a collaborative environment where communication, teamwork, and exceptional patient care come first.

Whether you're joining us for occasional coverage or picking up additional shifts when available, we want you to feel supported and appreciated.

What You'll Do

As a PRN Physical Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat residents with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and age-related conditions, helping them improve mobility, restore function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess mobility, strength, balance, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based physical therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.

  • Provide skilled therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions.

  • Help residents improve strength, endurance, coordination, safety, and independence with daily mobility.

  • Monitor patient progress, reassess functional outcomes, and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.

  • Provide education to residents, families, and caregivers regarding mobility strategies, fall prevention, safety, and home exercise programs.

  • Collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members.

  • Provide appropriate direction and supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants in accordance with applicable Pennsylvania practice requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and timely evaluations, progress notes, treatment documentation, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge recommendations to support safe transitions of care.

  • Follow established safety protocols, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.

  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, patient-centered rehabilitation environment.

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in connecting with Physical Therapists who bring compassion, strong clinical skills, and a genuine commitment to helping others.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.

  • Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license or eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania prior to employment, including an applicable PT Compact privilege.

  • Strong clinical evaluation, treatment planning, and patient care skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

  • Commitment to delivering individualized, high‑quality rehabilitation services.

Experience in skilled nursing, geriatrics, or post-acute rehabilitation is a plus, but not required.
