Job summary

Monterey Palms Healthcare Center is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents within our supportive, family-like environment. The role offers a strong compensation package and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications include a degree in Physical Therapy and a California license. New graduates are welcome; one year of clinical PT experience is preferred. This position is on-site with access to a collaborative team and meaningful patient impact.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in physical therapy (BS/MS/DPT).
• California license to practice physical therapy is required.
• One year of clinical PT experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
