Job summary

A healthcare facility in Nashville, TN is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist. In this role, you will provide evaluations and care for patients using various therapies and equipment. Responsibilities include planning treatments, monitoring patient progress, and integrating care across departments. Candidates must hold a TN Physical Therapy license and be a graduate of an accredited program. This is an entry-level position in the Health Care Provider function.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and use therapies involving physical exercise, massage, heat, water, light, and electricity.
• Utilize various mechanical and electrical equipment and prosthetic devices.
• Evaluate, record, and report on patient’s response to treatment.
• Integrate physical therapy treatments with other aspects of patient care.
• Assist patients reach their maximal reasonably levels of function and to cope with their limitations.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
