An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join their team. This role focuses on developing and administering therapeutic services to assist patients in recovering from injuries or surgeries. Physical Therapist is responsible for the development and administration of therapeutic services designed to assist patients with physical recovery from injury or surgery with a focus on the restoration of optimal physical function. Individuals in this role will examine patients, evaluate patient health status, formulate treatment plans, and educate patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities:
Experience and Certification/License Requirements:
Graduation from a Doctor of Physical Therapy program accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) is required. Must be credentialed by the Indiana Physical Therapy Committee and licensed by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. Two to four years of prior experience in a physical therapist role is preferred. Must maintain current BLS certification.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Working environment is in a clinical setting. Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment. Work requires standing for long periods of time and excessive walking. Position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting/assisting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 100 pounds. Requires regular to frequent levels of bending/stooping, crawling, climbing, kneeling, pushing/pulling, and squatting. Requires normal visual acuity and hearing must be in normal range for telephone contacts and to interact directly with patients. Regularly interacts with staff, physicians, business associates, and the public, which may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
