Job summary

ARCH Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is seeking a motivated PRN Physical Therapist for weekend coverage in Michigan. You will evaluate patients, review referrals, and deliver direct care following established protocols so patients reach their goals.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, supervising PT assistants, and collaborating with physicians and insurance; strong autonomous work capability and EMR/office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current or upcoming MI license and CPR certification.
• Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills including EMR, databases, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
• Review physician referrals and medical records to determine appropriate therapy
• Deliver direct patient care following established protocols and best-practice guidelines
• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries in a timely manner
• Oversee care provided by PT assistants and rehab technicians
• Establish goals and implement comprehensive physical therapy programs to achieve them
• Communicate clearly with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance representatives
• Complete required reporting, including workers' compensation updates and incident documentation
