The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health, part of Universal Health Services, is hiring a Physical Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. You will assess and treat patients with psychiatric conditions, using evidence-based therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain.
You will collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other specialists to ensure integrated care, accurate documentation, and smooth discharge planning.

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156-bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina Area. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, the Center serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. Programs are available at various levels of care to accommodate the severity of every patient’s condition: inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment. To provide individual patient consultation and assessment as ordered by physician for referrals such as nursing home and assisted living facilities.

Education: Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree required.
Experience: Zero- one (0-1) year of experience required. Three - five (3-5) years of related experience preferred. Experience with psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion Management Aggressive Behavior Training (HWC) before on the unit orientation and prior to assisting with restraining procedures. Successful certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association for CPR prior to taking an independent patient assignment.
Day shift Monday- Friday May be asked to work overtime and flexible hours.
