Job summary

ALS Therapy Development Institute in Daytona Beach, Florida is looking for a part-time Pediatric Physical Therapist to join their team. In this role, you will support children by conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with schools and families to ensure successful therapy interventions. Your work will directly impact children's lives, helping them build strength and independence.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy and be licensed in Florida. Previous pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, Doctorate preferred.
• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Previous pediatric experience is preferred, but a passion for working with children is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric clients
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Track progress through timely documentation using EMR systems
• Set and achieve meaningful goals outlined in each Plan of Care
• Manage your caseload effectively while mentoring and supervising PTAs
• Collaborate with families, schools, early intervention programs, and care teams
• Empower families through education and support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred)
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida
• Medicaid and National Provider Number (preferred)
• Previous pediatric experience (preferred; but passion for working with children is key!)
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and EMR systems
• Flexibility and commitment to self-development
• Integrity, tact, and sound judgment
• Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required to drive for program related business
