Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join a multidisciplinary team in Palm Beach County. The role involves evaluating patients, designing recovery plans, and delivering evidence-based treatments across acute, inpatient rehab, or home health settings.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, providing therapies to improve movement, educating patients and families, documenting outcomes, and coordinating transitions with the care team.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Experience: A min 1 year of work experience required, preferably in an acute care setting
• Licensure: Active state physical therapy license (e.g., Florida Department of Health)
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift or move patients and equipment up to 50 pounds
