Job Overview

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Physical Therapist is an expert in movement disorders and is responsible for providing quality care for patients receiving Physical Therapy services, including examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, intervention, outcomes, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, diagnose, prognosticate, intervene, monitor outcomes, and plan discharge for patients receiving Physical Therapy services with movement disorders.
• Consult with Primary Care Providers and specialists on patient care plans.
• Provide patient education and perform critical inquiry.
• Administer program planning, implementation, evaluation, and training.
• Supervise and direct personnel.
• Maintain current knowledge via an individualized development plan.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy professional program.
• California Physical Therapist License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
• New Grad or entry-level experience within an ambulatory care facility or medical group practice.
• Experience with program planning, implementation, evaluation, and education training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Ph.D.
• 1 year of experience in an outpatient Physical Therapy setting.
• Experience with CARF and Title XXII standards.
• EMR experience.

Working Conditions

Full time, Day shift, On‑site at St Mary High Desert Medical Group, 17071 Main Street, Hesperia, CA. Pay range: $51.76 – $80.34 per hour. Additional compensation may be available: shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
