Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a qualified, Per Diem, Registered Respiratory Therapist in Somerville, NJ.

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ State Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• RRT certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP certification required within 60 days of hire

Scheduling Requirements:

• Night Shift
• Per Diem Schedule

Essential Functions:

• Provide therapeutic, supportive, and diagnostic respiratory services to RWJBH patients
• Administer respiratory care as ordered and document in patient records
• Perform arterial puncture analysis, interpret results, and report findings
• Conduct daily maintenance and quality control for blood gas analyzers and co-oximeter
• Operate and troubleshoot oxygen delivery devices, pulse oximeters, end tidal CO2 monitors, and ventilators
