Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and create individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.

You will supervise patients directly and rehabilitation technicians indirectly, with oversight of PT assistants according to State Practice Acts. Education includes a degree in physical therapy and current licensure; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state where care is provided.
• BO/LS certifications must be current before independent patient care.
• Experience with rehabilitation and geriatric populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts and Mercy standards.
• Ensure care aligns with Mercy mission and service standards.
