Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. - Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our caring team.

You will deliver one-on-one therapy sessions and help patients regain function and mobility in a premier inpatient rehab setting. Requirements include current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist, BLS/CPR certification, and at least one year of direct patient care in a hospital environment preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification from an approved vendor.
• One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide services that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit disabilities for patients.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and document progress.

We have a great Per Diem opportunity for a Physical Therapist in Toledo, Ohio.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification from an approved vendor required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Examines patient's medical history, evaluates their physical abilities, determines their potential to respond to therapy, and develops treatment plans. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
