Job summary

CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Partnership with Select Medical in Ozark, Missouri is seeking a Physical Therapist for a PRN schedule at our brand-new inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This role supports patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation and multiple traumas.

The therapist will perform initial and ongoing assessments, develop treatment plans, supervise PTAs, document care, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification must be possessed or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise PTAs and PT/PTA students.
• Complete documentation according to department policies.
• Participate in discharge planning and education.

Minimum Qualifications

• State Licensure: Hold a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Certified BLS: Possess Certified BLS or obtain it within 90 days of employment.
