Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Physical Therapist for weekend per diem coverage at Edward Hospital. You will provide direct PT services with individualized treatment plans to help patients reach functional goals.

The role requires IL licensure, 1–3 years Acute-Care experience, and CPR (AHA BLS). This position offers premium pay, incentive pay, and growth opportunities along with comprehensive benefits.

$38.67 - $59.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Physical Therapist - Per Diem

• Flat Hourly Per Diem Rate: $51.00 per hour

• Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL

• Per Diem/PRN

• Hours: Weekend shifts. (2) 8 hour weekend shifts required per month, 8am to 4:30pm. 1 Summer and 1 Winter holiday per year.

What you will do:

Provides direct physical therapy services to patients.Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical skill, as evidenced by the completion of comprehensive and insightful evaluations, and the development of individualized and effective treatment plans designed to achieve precise, functional goals.Evaluates patient's physical and functional status and plans and implements therapeutic programs that include prevention, identification, correction and alleviation of acute or prolonged movement dysfunction of an anatomic or physiologic origin. Uses excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care.Stays updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of physical therapy.Maintains a well-rounded knowledge base, and clinical reasoning skills to consistently achieve expected clinical outcomes.

What you will need:

• A minimum of 1-3 years' experience with demonstration of clinical independence in an Acute-Care setting, preferred

• Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, required

• Masters Degree, preferred

• Current State of Illinois Physical Therapist licensure

• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association BLS provider

• Support available for certification and development

Required without License:

• Notification from Continental Testing Services advising of receipt and approval of application for licensure (if first-time test taker).

• Authorization to Test (ATT) letter from Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy

• Confirmation of Computer-Based Exam

• State of Illinois Physical Therapy license within 90 days of hire

• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association BLS provider
