Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist II for per diem/PRN coverage at Edward Hospital. The role offers a flat rate of $51.00 per hour with a $2.00 weekend differential, and requires 1–3 years of acute care experience with independent clinical skills.

You will provide direct PT services, develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients, and stay current with PT techniques.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience with clinical independence in acute care.
  • PT degree: BS before 2002 or MS/PhD 2002-2014 or DPT 2015+.
  • Current State of Illinois Physical Therapist licensure.
  • Current CPR Certification (AHA BLS).
  • Valid driver’s license if off-site duties are required.
  • Will consider training therapists with orthopedics and pelvic health interest.
  • Support for certification and development.

Hourly Pay Range:

$38.67 - $59.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:
  • Position: Physical Therapist II
  • Flat Rate of $51.00 per hour for Per Diem Therapists, with additional $2.00 per hour for weekend differential.
  • Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
  • Per Diem/PRN.
  • Hours: 2 weekend shifts per month from 8am to 4:30pm. Evening hours are also available.
  • 1 Winter Holiday and 1 Summer Holiday

We offer specialties in hand, neuro, vestibular, pelvic health, pediatrics, and lymphedema.

What you will need:
  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience with demonstration of clinical independence and experience in an acute care environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (if graduated before 2002) OR Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (if graduated 2002 - 2014) OR Doctorate in Physical Therapy (if graduated 2015 and after).
  • Current State of Illinois Physical Therapist licensure
  • Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association BLS provider
  • A valid driver’s license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
  • Will consider training therapist with experience in general orthopedics and demonstrated strong interest in pelvic health
  • Support available for certification and development
Required without License :
  • Notification from Continental Testing Services advising of receipt and approval of application for licensure (if first-time test taker).
  • “Authorization to Test” (ATT) letter from Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy
  • Confirmation of Computer-Based Exam
  • State ofIllinois Physical Therapylicense within 90 days of hire
  • Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association BLS provider
What you will do:

Provides direct physical therapy services to patients.Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical skill, as evidenced by the completion of comprehensive and insightful evaluations, and the development of individualized and effective treatment plans designed to achieve precise, functional goals.Evaluates patient’s physical and functional status and plans and implements therapeutic programs that include prevention, identification, correction and alleviation of acute or prolonged movement dysfunction of an anatomic or physiologic origin. Uses excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care.Stays updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of physical therapy.Maintains a well-rounded knowledge base, and clinical reasoning skills to consistently achieve expected clinical outcomes.
