We are seeking motivated, energetic applicants to work in our rehabilitation deapartment with patients with a variety of medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT)
• 1 year of experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility preferred
• Possess a current, unencumbered, NYS license andmaintain an active license in good standing throughout employment

Requirements:

• Demonstrate competence in physical therapy evaluation, goal setting, treatment, and EMR documentation
• Chart appropriately and timely
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
• Maintain an excellent working relationship with facility staff members
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Provide dependable, regular caseload coverage.

This is a per-diem position that does not have guaranteed shifts.
