Job Description:I. Position Summary:Organize and conduct physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. Direct client participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for promoting independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. Core Competencies:Administer diagnostic testing procedures to assess the extent of patients’ impairments and the prognosis for improvement.Establish a plan of care to address identified impairments. Position ResponsibilitiesEvaluate clients, develop appropriate treatment goals and methods, implement the physical therapy treatment plan, and complete all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services.
