Job summary

PeaceHealth Vancouver WA is seeking a Physical Therapist for our Pelvic Rehab program in the Orthopaedic clinic at the Physicians Pavilion. This is a Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Day position in Vancouver, Washington.

The successful candidate will evaluate assigned patients, establish a plan of care and realistic goals, deliver evidence-based pelvic rehabilitation, document outcomes and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team, mentoring students or junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Evaluation and plan of care for pelvic rehab patients.
• Documentation and regulatory compliance in PT practice.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and establishes a treatment plan and goals.
• Delivers physical therapy treatment and updates the plan as needed.
• Documents progress and outcomes per standards.
• Collaborates with nursing, medical and therapy staff to coordinate care.
• Mentors or oversees junior staff or students when applicable.

PeaceHealth Physical Therapy Ortho clinic at the Physicians Pavillion in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Physical Therapist for our Pelvic Rehab program for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $48.52 - $72.78. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Job Summary

Responsible for the evaluation of patients, determining plan-of-care and goals of treatment, participating in treatment of patients within the scope of Physical Therapy. May provide oversight to therapy assistants and/or students in following the plan-of-care and treatment of patients appropriate to the age of the patient served; may provide supervision to therapy aides and/or volunteers. Works as part of a patient care team toward the best outcomes for the patient.

What you will do:

• Evaluates assigned patients and establishes a treatment plan and goals, using data from a variety of sources, such as patient records, interviews, observation, and team members.
• Provides patient treatment according to plan of care and modifies plan to meet patient needs, and updates plan as appropriate.
• Completes documentation accurately, timely, according to regulatory and state licensure requirements, and within professional standards.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure smooth continuous care of the patients. May act as a liaison with nursing, medical and other therapy staffs to facilitate problem solving and coordination of other services and act as an educational resource.
• May mentor and provide oversight to new caregivers, physical therapist assistants, and/or therapy aides. Provides clinical instruction and training to students.
• Recommends and participates in development of new services and programs, quality improvement and monitoring activities.
• May participate in staff meetings, patient care meetings, educational in-services, caregiver orientation and other professional activities.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree Required: Physical Therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education or closely related field (foreign equivalent accepted)
• Preferred: Pelvic rehab experience
• Required: Physical Therapist License State of Washington
• Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support
