Recover-Care in Kansas is seeking a Physical Therapist to develop individualized therapy programs, perform assessments, plan treatment, and educate patients to maximize functional progress. The role emphasizes collaboration with other health professionals and staff.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, evaluating needs and outcomes, designing plans of care, documenting goals, and adhering to standards of care, safety, and infection control.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Proficiency with applicable state, federal, and professional standards.
• Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists.
• Designs and implements a plan of care based on a thorough assessment of potential development and incorporates participation by significant others whenever it seems appropriate.
• Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans. Regularly updates documentation and maintains prescriptions and signatures.
• Communicates effectively with other professional and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients’ functional goals.
• Practices facility and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
