Job summary

St. Joseph Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to help patients rebuild or maintain physical wellbeing, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. You will perform initial evaluations, design plans of care, and administer treatments while collaborating with the care team and families.

The role requires strong communication, age-appropriate competency, and a patient-centered approach. A TX PT degree and CPR within 14 days are required, with licensure considerations at hire.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy and licensure eligible will be considered.
• TX licensure required upon hire or as a condition of employment.
• Basic Life Support - CPR within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide a variety of direct treatments to restore function and reduce pain.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and families to meet goals.
• Maintain patient care productivity and ensure timely documentation.
• Support patient education and family involvement in care.
