Job summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients with muscle, joint, and functional impairments. You will follow physician orders and work within the home health framework to support patient recovery in a multi-disciplinary setting.

The role requires CA licensure, current BLS certification, and a valid CA driver's license. Prior EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program in physical therapy.
• Active California Physical Therapy License.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current California driver’s license.
• Valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients with muscle and joint impairment per physician orders.
• Adhere to home health standards and complete discipline-specific assessments.
• Maintain CA PT license, BLS, and driver's license current.

Required Experience

• Graduate of an approved program in physical therapy and licensed as such by the P.T. Examining Committee of the CA Board of Medical Quality Assurance.

Preferred:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a physical therapist
• Electronic medical record input experience
