Job summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients with musculoskeletal and functional impairments in accordance with physician orders.

You will work in a home health setting, collaborate with care teams, and document care using the EMR. Active CA license and BLS are required, with a preference for 1 year of PT experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved physical therapy program and licensed in California.
• Active California Physical Therapy License and current CPR/BLS.
• Current California driver's license and valid auto insurance.
• Performs physical therapy under physician orders in a home health setting.
• Preferred: minimum 1 year of PT experience; EMR input experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients with impaired muscle, joint, and functional ability as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain documentation per home health standards and ensure compliance with CA Board of Medical Quality Assurance.

Required Experience

• Graduate of an approved program in physical therapy and licensed as such by the P.T. Examining Committee of the CA Board of Medical Quality Assurance.

Preferred

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a physical therapist
