Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapeutic services to patients in their homes and clinical settings. The role follows physician orders and emphasizes individualized treatment plans targeted at improving mobility and functional outcomes.

Candidates must hold a California Physical Therapy license, maintain current BLS certification, and have a valid CA driver’s license with active auto insurance. Prior home health experience is preferred for optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program in physical therapy and licensed by the CA Board of Medical Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients with impaired muscle, joint, and functional impairment per physician orders.
• Adhere to home health standards and documentation requirements.
• Maintain current BLS certification and a valid CA driver’s license; ensure auto insurance where applicable.

Required Skills

• Basic computer knowledge and skills

Required Experience

• Graduate of an approved program in physical therapy and licensed as such by the P.T. Examining Committee of the CA Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
• Active California Physical Therapy License
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current California driver’s license
• Valid auto insurance

Preferred:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a physical therapist
• Electronic medical record input experience
