Job summary

PIH Health Hospital seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant I to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist following physician referrals.

The role supports diverse patient populations and requires CA PTA licensure and CPR certification. Day shifts available with emphasis on safe, effective therapeutic interventions and teamwork within a nonprofit regional health system.

The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant I is to provide direct patient care under the direction of a qualified Physical Therapist upon physician referral.

Required Experience

Required:

• Licensed as a physical therapist assistant in California, or eligible to take the examination for licensure in the State of California, with PTA license applicant document on file.
• Must maintain a current California physical therapist assistant license.
• CPR certification.

Preferred:

• Basic Windows and mouse skills preferred.
