Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist for a part-time, 24-hour-per-week shift. The role requires a PT degree and licensure in the state, plus BLS certification. Six months to a year of rehab experience with adults and geriatrics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.

• Six months to one year experience preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.
