Job summary

Physical Therapy Solutions is seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team in the Richmond area. You will perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans, delivering high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services.

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000–$100,000 based on experience, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, mentorship for new graduates, CE support, leadership opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package in

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current Virginia Physical Therapist licensure or eligibility.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills or willingness to develop them via mentorship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build rapport and provide compassionate care.
• Self-motivated, positive, and team-oriented.
• Commitment to outstanding customer service and patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Develop measurable goals and evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver one-on-one PT services for orthopedic/musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional training.
• Monitor progress and modify plans to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, plans, and home programs.
• Complete accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Supervise PTAs and rehabilitation technicians per VA standards.

Job Description

Physical Therapy Solutions is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient orthopedic team.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify functional limitations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Develop measurable, patient-centered goals and evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services to patients with a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and other evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with Virginia practice standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, insurance providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative clinic environment.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain current clinical knowledge and skills.
