Job summary

Physical Therapy Solutions is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team in the Greater Richmond area, including Glen Allen. You will deliver evidence-based care, build strong patient relationships, and contribute to a collaborative clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current Virginia Physical Therapist licensure or eligibility.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify functional limitations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Develop measurable, patient-centered goals and evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic/musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and other evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Supervise PTAs and rehab techs per VA standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other providers to coordinate care.
• Maintain productivity and exceptional patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, collaborative clinic environment.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify functional limitations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Develop measurable, patient-centered goals and evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services to patients with a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and other evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with Virginia practice standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, insurance providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative clinic environment.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain current clinical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• raduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current or eligible for Virginia Physical Therapist licensure.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills or a desire to develop them through mentorship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
