Overview:

Under the supervision of the Rehab Therapy supervisor at the Rehab Center at Mercy Health Center, and according to departmental policies, standards of treatment, and referral procedures, performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, with general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with Missouri regulations. Performs duties consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Current Missouri license or eligibility for registry. Bachelor’s, Master of Science, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current Missouri license of Physical Therapy.
• Experience: BLS certified. Certifications must be current before caring for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, with a preference for experience with adult and geriatric patients.
