Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered therapy across age groups, from pediatric to geriatric. The role includes evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and relieve pain, with supervision of assistants as needed.

Applicants should hold a PT degree (BS/MS/DPT) and maintain state CEU requirements; Georgia license or compact privileges and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (BS, MS, or DPT)
• Must maintain current CEU's as required by the State
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or compact privileges in Georgia
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA required

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.

Responsibilities:

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Qualifications:

Education
