Job summary

Munger Physical Therapy is a family-owned outpatient orthopedic practice in Fort Gratiot, MI seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient orthopedic caseload.

You will provide hands-on, evidence-based care, educate patients on recovery expectations, and collaborate with PTAs to achieve excellent outcomes in a 1:1 setting.

Qualifications

• DPT required and licensed in Michigan or eligibility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
• Mentorship for new graduates available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized outpatient orthopedic treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on, evidence-based care and education on diagnosis and home programs.
• Collaborate with PTAs and therapists to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and patient experience from first visit to discharge.

Qualifications

Required

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
• Current Michigan Physical Therapist License (or eligibility)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care

Preferred

• Outpatient orthopedic experience
• Manual therapy experience
• Interest or certification in McKenzie (MDT), Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, or other specialty areas
• New graduates welcome - structured mentorship provided
