Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Michigan is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist to assess and treat patients, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with an inter-disciplinary team. The role requires a Michigan PT license and a bachelor’s degree, with a 36-hour workweek and on-call weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• State of Michigan Physical Therapy License.
• Munson Healthcare vaccination requirements: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella; flu vaccine in season or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs for physical therapy and plan/execute individual treatment plans per Michigan licensure and PT scope of practice.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, including written instructions as necessary.
• Maintain effective collaboration with the inter-disciplinary team through clear communication and innovative contributions.

• As aPhysical Therapist in our Outpatient Rehab Clinic, you will be a critical part of making a difference in the lives of our patients. We are partnered with Mary Free Bed, so rest assured we provide the best to our employees so they can give the best to our patients.
• In this role, you will assumefull responsibility for assessing patient needs for physical therapy which includes planningand executingindividual treatment plans in accordance with the State of Michigan licensure and PT scope of practice
• Along with providing quality treatment to our patients, you will provideeducation and support to both patients and their familyincluding written instructions as necessary.

What’s Required

• Bachelor’s degree graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• State of Michigan Physical Therapy License
