Job summary

Mercy Lebanon seeks a Physical Therapist to deliver outpatient therapy for adult and geriatric patients. Under Therapy Leadership, you will perform objective assessments and create comprehensive individualized treatment plans while supervising rehabilitation staff as required.

This full-time role requires current PT licensure, BLS, and a commitment to Mercy’s mission and service standards, with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active PT licensure in state of practice.
• BLS certification current before independent patient care.
• Six months to one year rehabilitation experience preferred, with adult/geriatric care exposure.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Minimum Qualifications for Physical Therapist

Education:

Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Licensure:

Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.

Certifications:

BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.

Preferred Experience:

Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
