Job summary

A healthcare institution in Georgia is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient care during the day. This role includes providing therapy services to various patient demographics and conducting evaluations to restore function. The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited program and hold a valid Georgia PT license. Full-time opportunities are available with an entry-level designation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Georgia Physical Therapist License or compact privileges.
• BLS certification through AHA is required.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services for patients to reach physical independence.
• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and treatments to restore function.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Care for patients treated by physical therapist assistants.
• Orient and guide assigned staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT. Must maintain current CEU(s) as required by the State.
• Minimum Experience Required: None.
• Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law: Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia. BLS certification through AHA.
• Additional Qualifications: 2 years of experience preferred.
