Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine is seeking a Physical Therapist I for outpatient rehabilitation. We encourage new graduates and provide mentorship within a hospital-based outpatient setting.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to design individualized treatment plans, deliver evidence-based therapy, and document progress in our EMR system. Expect sign-on bonus discussions during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Must have a PT degree and appropriate licensure in the state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required upon hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility, and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.

Education

Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy

Current state Physical Therapy license

Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current

Pay Transparency:

Central Maine Medical Centeroffers competitivecompensationand a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40.00 to $50.01per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will bedeterminedat the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
