Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Physical Therapist I for outpatient services. New graduates are welcome; experienced PTs encouraged to apply. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday, 8-hour day schedule with a $40.00–$50.01 hourly rate and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

You will deliver evidence-based therapy, collaborate with physicians and the rehab team, develop individualized treatment plans, document in EMR, and support patient goals for mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist I delivers evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation services to restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and maximize independence.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility, and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40 .00 to $ 50.01 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
