Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation. New graduate PTs are welcome, and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time, 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, in a welcoming hospital-based clinic. The Physical Therapist I delivers evidence-based, patient-centered care, develops individualized treatment plans with physicians, and documents in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy credentials.
• Current state Physical Therapy license required to practice.
• BCLS (AHA) certificate required upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation services to restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and maximize independence.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility, and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.

Education

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40 .00 to $ 50.01 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
