Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME, is seeking a Physical Therapist for our outpatient clinic. We welcome new graduates and encourage experienced PTs to apply, offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour days, with pay between $40.00 and $50.01 per hour. You will collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and a multidisciplinary care team to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current Physical Therapy license required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification preferred or to be maintained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation to restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and maximize independence.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility, and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain EMR documentation and comply with hospital policies.

Education

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist I delivers evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation services to restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and maximize independence. Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
• 2. Current state Physical Therapy license
• 3. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40 .00 to $ 50.01 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
