Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dedicated Permanent Physical Therapist for outpatient care. The role focuses on therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, ADL retraining, and family education to improve patient outcomes.

You will design and implement personalized treatment plans, supervise home exercise programs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a patient-centered, growth-friendly environment. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy, functional training, ADL retraining, gait training, patient & family education, home exercise program (HEP) design, and equipment recommendation & fitting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to explain complex medical information clearly.
• Strong problem solving skills and adaptability in patient care.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach and commitment to high-quality care.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine their physical condition, limitations, medical history, and personal goals.
2. Design individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy, and functional training.
3. Provide ADL retraining and gait training to help patients regain or improve their physical abilities.
4. Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans, fostering a collaborative relationship to enhance patient care.
5. Develop and implement home exercise programs (HEP) that are safe, effective, and tailored to each patient's unique needs and capabilities.
6. Recommend and fit necessary therapeutic equipment, ensuring patient comfort and functionality.
7. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in physical therapy, incorporating new techniques and technologies into patient treatment as appropriate.
