Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine, seeks a Physical Therapist I for outpatient services. New graduates are welcome; experienced PTs encouraged to apply.

This full-time role offers Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts with a $40.00–$50.01/hour pay and a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for qualified candidates. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic exercise and gait training, monitor progress, and document in EMR in collaboration with physicians

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, Doctorate or Certificate in Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation services.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility and functional rehab.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with standards.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist I delivers evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation services to restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and maximize independence. You'll collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized treatment plans that help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
• 2. Current state Physical Therapy license
• 3. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40 .00 to $ 50.01 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
