Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our hospital-based outpatient rehab team. The role supports new graduates and welcomes experienced PTs, with a Monday–Friday, 8-hour day schedule and a competitive hourly pay of $40.00 to $50.01.

You will evaluate and treat patients, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and provide patient education while maintaining EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist with active state license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintain.
• Experience welcome but not required; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist I delivers evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation services to restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and maximize independence. Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40.00 to $50.01 per hour.
