JOB SUMMARY

The Physical Therapist 1 provides care to patients through evaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, patient education, and discharge planning to maximize the patient's functional level.

$5,000 Sign on Bonus

This is an outpatient opportunity, with a schedule from Monday to Friday.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

1. Evaluates, treats, and monitors patients; modifies therapy programs and goals as needed.
2. Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner; enters charges accurately; understands reimbursement related to the practice setting.
3. Communicates effectively with patients, families, departmental coworkers, and the medical care team; provides education to patients, families, and staff.
4. Supervises ancillary staff, students, and volunteers.
5. Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and implementation of evidence-based practices.
6. Shares knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues.
7. Adheres to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines.
8. Maintains awareness of system goals and aligns personal goals and activities accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Masters' or Bachelors' degree plus 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certification/License/Registration: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) and BLS certification or BLS within 30 days of hire.
