Job Details

The Staff Level I Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of all patients referred for their services. The Physical Therapist is an essential healthcare provider committed to helping patients achieve their highest level of function. The Staff Level I Therapist will uphold the mission, vision, and values of Jefferson Health and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans and care.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  1. Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, interventions, and discharge planning for a full patient caseload across various settings including acute care, skilled facilities, acute rehab, and outpatient.
  2. Participate in student education and contribute to the training of novice clinicians.
  3. Design, organize, and deliver treatment programs aimed at patient recovery and rehabilitation.
  4. Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to administer safe therapeutic interventions and training for patients and families.
  5. Record and document all health progress, therapeutic interventions, daily treatments, evaluations, and discharge summaries accurately.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
