Job Details

The Staff Level I Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and discharge planning for all referred patients. The therapist plays a key role in helping patients reach their highest functional potential and works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans. The role aligns with Jefferson Health's mission, vision, and values.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  1. Provide comprehensive therapy evaluations, develop treatment plans, and execute interventions across various settings including acute care, skilled facilities, rehab, and outpatient clinics.
  2. Participate in student education and contribute to teaching activities suitable for a novice clinician.
  3. Design, organize, and implement treatment programs to facilitate patient recovery and rehabilitation.
  4. Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to administer safe therapeutic interventions and training for patients and their families.
  5. Document patient health progress, including daily treatments, evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

AND

0-2 years of clinical practice; 1 year preferred.

Valid state license in Physical Therapy.

CPR certification (American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers, BLS) required.

Work Shift

Rotating shifts (United States of America).
