Established in 2006, we are a therapist owned private practice specializing in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, and pelvic health therapy. At FunctionSmart Physical Therapy, our focus is to be San Diego's Premier Physical Therapy Clinic. We do this by providing individualized, professional care to allow for optimal recovery & function. We always deliver hands-on, one-on-one physical therapy aimed at giving you a faster, more effective recovery.

We work with a variety of injuries associated with high level athletes, general sports & orthopedic injuries, and pelvic health concerns. Our clinic strives for excellent performance with one-on-one care, skilled manual interventions, and a collaborative team of knowledgeable therapists, optimizing health and function for our patients. Our therapists are highly skilled and certified in advanced level courses such as Active Release Techniques and Hermann and Wallace. Our goal is to serve the community with quality and effective care and encourage growth and education in our professionals.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist - Orthopedic and Sports at FunctionSmart located in San Diego, CA. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing rehabilitation and patient care services, specializing in orthopedic and sports-related conditions. Our Orthopedic and Sports Team work with high level athletes, post-operative rehab, general orthopedic concerns in a very active San Diego community, and high level functioning geriatrics. New grads are welcome to apply; part-time applicants will be considered.

Qualifications

• Medicine and Physical Therapy skills
• Rehabilitation and Patient Care skills
• Experience in Home Care settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Previous experience in orthopedic and sports therapy
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of California

• Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the recovery process.
