Our outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team offers treatment services that maximize functionality and promote optimal outcomes. We pride ourselves on creating an exceptional patient experience to help all our patients return to athletics, work, life, and the activities they love.

This is a large clinic with 6 clinicians and an ATC at a local high school. We stand out as a Select Sports Center of Excellence! Located across from the UConn campus, we see many college athletes, including club sports, and are adjacent to EO Smith High School. We are also near a large medical center with a busy orthopedic group. This position is ideal for a new graduate or an experienced therapist with an interest in sports-related injuries. We are actively involved in community events and offer opportunities to work with graduate and undergraduate students on the PT track.

Schedule: Monday through Friday

PRN and Part-Time positions are also available

Compensation: Salary up to $100k based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing physical therapy practice and supervision
• Complete and maintain all required training and ensure compliance with regulations
• Evaluate, treat, and document patient needs clearly and accurately
• Maintain open, respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, families, and payors
• Participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager

Qualifications

• Graduate from an APTA-accredited PT program
• Valid State Physical Therapist License
• CPR certification required
