Job summary

The role includes documenting progress, educating patients and families, handling billing procedures, and maintaining current licensure and BLS certification. May involve working at multiple Hughston locations as needed to support patient care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory MVR for onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer PT treatments to restore function and relieve pain.
• Perform evaluations and establish care plans.
• Consult with physicians about rehabilitation impact on health status.
• Document patient findings and treatments in medical records.
• Bill patients according to procedures.
• Educate patients and families on care and exercises.
• Stay updated on protocols for patient populations.
