Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of PT experience required.

• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory MVR and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to restore function, prevent disability, and relieve pain.
• Perform evaluations/re-evaluations and establish plan of care for patients.
• Consult with physicians and other departments about rehabilitation impact on health status.
• Document findings, treatments, and other patient information for medical records.
• Educate patient/family on appropriate care and use of therapies and exercises.
• Stay up to date on appropriate protocols for patient population.
