Job summary

TransPerfect Health is actively recruiting a Physical Therapist to join the team at Pheasant Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings.

The role emphasizes clinical mentorship, adherence to regulations, and collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation to create and implement therapy programs for aging residents. A competitive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program; foreign-trained degrees must be evaluated as equivalent by an APTA-approved agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments per state acts and plan of care.
• Improve functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for the aging population.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Attend orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation to develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties with moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop a robust therapy program
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
